K24 exhaust side
finish exhaust side design. achieved about 280CFM at maximum lift. with the intake in 286CFM, this head flows like a K20 OEM head. this was my customer goal, so, lets see if these numbers are enough for 300cv target.
keep in mind that with the engine running, and intake and exhaust camsahft overlaping, will raise these numbers. the intake header will restrict the flow about 10% in best case and about 15% in the worst scenario. i'll test with a FN2 intake header to check % lost.

Burning the midnight oil
worked until 1am to finish the intake port design of K24 head.
this is the final ddesign, creating high speed channels, avoiding the valve guide and helping the air flowing
where it wants to flow. 80 grit finish.

K24.Ferrea vs OEM valves
flowed the head with ferrea and oem valves to see if there is any difference. i am told that ferrea flows better than oem valves.
the flowbench showed me that is not true. ferrea valves are flowing less than oem valves, about 10CFM less.
the flowbench showed me that is not true. ferrea valves are flowing less than oem valves, about 10CFM less.
here you can see the difference between both valves. ferrea at right.
i worked on a ferrea valve making a multi angle profile. here is difference between a jaas worked valve and standard ferrea valve. jaas worked at left.
achieved 286CFM at max lift. i have no spare k24 head, so i can't go further without risking my customers head.i think this is enough for customer purpose.
work in progress and almost final design of intake port.
