carbs

the carb linkage of my '51 pickup its broken or at least doesn't work the way that is supposed to work.
after some gas pedal pumps, the pin which joins the gas linkage and the carb gets loose.


 
need to secure the pin with some steel wire .

D16A9 design

intake done. this head flows pretty well, between 225CFM and 235CFM. surprisingly, at some point
the speed of flow surpasses a k20a head.  i read 399fps near the divider and the bottom of the port.
in k20a head at that point was 380fps.

compared to other 1.6 honda heads i've done, this head flowed a bit more.

D16A9

started working on a new head from a D16A9 engine. this engine runs on civic 4th gen and CRX 2nd gen.
 at first sight, the intake port is similar to a d16y8 head, with the divider  deeper in the intake. this design a allows more flow in .1" .2" .3" valve lifts.

i'll flow it tonight to compare with other 1600cc honda.

Ford F1

new project . i sold the civic beagle and bought this ford f1 pickup. i was searching for a while a car like this,always love  50s pickups. V8 ford flathead engine.

It has a lot of work to do,at least engine is rebuilt. need a new carburetor, electrical distributor, a new painting job... and etc...
