225CFM  flow on this manifold. cut the plenum to start working on it.

are the gains on this manifold using stock parts and modifying them.
need to work more on the velocity stacks, maybe there are some cfm more to gain.

i need to repair my vertical saw, so until then, no more advances on this manifold.

k24 intake prototype


started working last week on the manifold for a 2.4l honda civic engine. i chose the rsp intake for its 3 piece
design, which is easier to work on.
the stock design  is focused on mid range power and torque gains, with longer runners than other honda factory intakes.
it flowed very poor,  less than a prb intake manifold. this poor behavior  is due to the plenum cover.

gained about 30CFM with a new design and working on the velocity stacks.






i'll swap the oem velocity stacks for these ones.

i am also trying to gain some flow on a stock prb intake.

another fantastic day at the beach with family.




Fire

last week we suffered a big fire in town. 70 people lost their houses.
at least, no people were injured.

2.4L intake

next project at  jaas garage, is the modification of a rsp intake manifold from a FN2 for a 2.4L NA engine.
my goal is to match results to a rrc intake manifold, at least.
it's a 3 piece design from honda, with velocity stacks.

RSP main specs :

Weight              5.6kg
Runner length    19.5cm /25.5cm with stock velocity stacks
Runner width  minimum    48mm  
                       maximum   51mm/58mm with stock velocity stacks
Runner volume   1180cc/1600cc with stock velocity stacks
Plenum volume   3750cc/3300 cc with stock velocity stacks
Total volume      4930cc
Throttlebody      64mm

application, 2.4L NA engine.
